To become a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.), chiropractors complete:

1. Undergraduate Studies: Chiropractors begin with at least 4 years of undergraduate education, focusing on core sciences such as biology, chemistry, and human anatomy. Both treating doctors have Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Anatomy. Dr. Pierre Quiroz also has a minor in Biochemistry and Dr. Emilee Quiroz has a minor in Chemistry.
2. Doctor of Chiropractic Degree: Next is a 4-year doctoral program at an accredited chiropractic college. This includes over 4,200 hours of classroom, laboratory, and clinical training in:
   • Anatomy and physiology
   • Neurology and orthopedics
   • Radiology and diagnostic imaging
   • Chiropractic techniques and patient care
3. Clinical Internship: Chiropractic students gain hands-on experience through supervised clinical internships, where they assess, diagnose, and treat real patients. Dr. Pierre Quiroz completed his internship at Parker University and Grave’s chiropractic in Frisco, TX.
4. Licensure: To practice, chiropractors must pass all 4 national board exams and the Physiotherapy exam and meet all state licensing requirements.
5. Continuing Education: Even after licensure, chiropractors complete ongoing education each year to stay current with the latest research, techniques, and standards of care.
